Kansas City Barbecue Arrives in London
Welcome to Prairie Fire, our first brick-and-mortar barbecue restaurant and taproom in White City, bringing authentic Kansas City BBQ specialties to hungry Londoners.
We’ve taken over two historic arches in the Wood Lane Arches development, just opposite John Lewis. One archway is home to our restaurant and the other to our taproom. It’s been a busy few months, but we’ve loved getting to know the local businesses, residents and our neighbours. We’re thrilled to be part of such a vibrant, buzzy area of London.

Our Restaurant

Our meats are smoked the traditional KC way – low and slow – We use oak, applewood and hickory. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even late evening, our menu has something for everyone.
Our signature sandwich is The CowTown made with 16-hour smoked USDA brisket piled high with molten cheese, our award-winning sauce and an onion ring or the 14-hour applewood smoked pork topped with tangy slaw. We also serve up roadside style smashed burgers, hot dogs, meat samplers and more.

Championing Local Craft Breweries
What goes better with barbecue than beer? Our taproom is home to 16 taps filled with craft beers from breweries we’ve worked with over the years. Post up at the bar and enjoy a selection of draft IPAs, Lagers, Porters, Shandys and Ciders from the likes of Mondo Brewery, Fourpure, Gipsy Hill and Yeastie boys. We also have a huge selection of bottles and cans to choose from alongside wines, prosecco and a carefully curated cocktail list.
